Imagine if No Man's Sky had that sort of time and budget and vision.

I read somewhere that Squadron 42 has been delayed again. though one headline said indefinitely.
If anyone wants to give it a test-run...
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/10/...d-of-the-monthAs part of a new Fall 2016 Free Fly promotion, the game will be available without charge until October 30 for everyone who creates or signs into an account and uses the promo code FALL2016.
Want some new Star Citizen news?
Well, after blowing their US$150,000,000 crowd-funded budget, CIG have gone and mortgaged the entire game including IP rights and everything off to the bank to get more funding.

Unbelievable.

Oh shit
I was just thinking about this game the other day, wondering why I hadn't heard much.

The comments indicate a difference of opinion. That said, I'm not reading through the share charge unless I'm paid to do so.
That sounds like a straight cash-out by the principle owners.
Ah-ha!
Clarifications have been issued and it looks like a case of nothing to see here.

Looks like CIG got a bank loan using a tax rebate as collateral, purely as a cash-saving measure. Something to do with US and EU currency conversions to U.K. currency. It is all unrelated to Star Citizen.
Also in the post from yesterday I wrote 'Sky Citizen' instead of 'Star Citizen' and no one noticed before I edited it, so that's pretty cool.
