Don't worry, I'm fully aware. The surgery is outpatient and, in and of itself, not that crazy. The recovery is 3-5 months. I am fully prepared to patiently wait and am going to do everything I can to make it the least shitty it can be.
That said, I thought it was a good joke. I went with her to her appointment for an MRI followed by a consultation with the surgeon. She asked him when she could expect to be able to have sex again. He said it'd be in a week or two, but that it might be "pretty uncomfortable". I, being the charmer I am, chimed in with "Oh, that's fine, it's always uncomfortable for her."

Sex is great fun.
Sometimes there's even another person involved

I remember my first sexual experience. Trying not to get caught, it was dark, I was alone ...

To me:
Sex is like French fries...
Seduction, foreplay or whatever other sort of fun game playing is like coca cola...
Love is like the cheese burger.
It's certainly delicious to have fries only, or the drink only... or just the burger sometimes, but it's most satisfying to eat the entire combo!
If you love yourself, even if you're all by yourself, you could still have fries with your burger! It may be kinda dry without a drink, just have the lubricant of your choice ready.

Ask me about my bottom br
Lube and fries.
Dude, if there's a community college near you go ahead and sign up for a creative writing class. Your literary artifacts are not really working.

Dude, the lube is no longer literary but a literal artifact. Get it? No? Don't worry about it...

I'm going to guess that's the occasional "McFlurry" in his analogy.
