Max cut the corner and gained an advantage.
Sucks for Max as he did not need to go so far inside and even with the+5sec he ended up being less than a second behind Kimi

It was close. But I'm glad someone is willing to go for it and make something happen. At least he had the maturity not to crash into him. Vettels pass was awesome several laps earlier when he split a few cars who got lazy.

And just read, Hartley confirmed to race in Mexico. Kvyat dropped and Gasley in.

Kvyat is a shit show in progress. I think he saw the writing on the wall awhile ago and has tried to clean up his act...but it's a little late for that I think.

Can you stop, fanboy?
Anyway, Max seems to have passed on his bad luck to his teammate...

So McLaren must be having some interesting talks with Renault this week
The NBC crew had Zack Brown on the phone and asked him about all the Renault problems this week, and he jokingly said he hadn't noticed. Then he suggested they were probably just doing testing for 2018, which I believe to a certain point.

And the interview with Max after when they asked him if he was concerned about his engine...he basically said he was shitting bricks after one caught on fire in front of him. So they turned the engine way down and prayed.
Their problem is that they need a little more power again for next year but the durability is what they should really be tackling right now.
Meanwhile Honda is starting to improve and finish races...doh.
Next year COULD be a really amazing fight. If, if
