I guess, for Mercedes, it goes down to how different the new Pirellis are. 2012/13 levels of unknown and they're fucked. Michael and other old schoolers did have the hardest time adapting, so in that sense, the red bull pair seems the best if they're thrown a curveball.

Speaking of Marchionne wanting to brand Haas as Alfa, why not as one of FCA's American brands? It'd be kinda ridiculous to see Dodge on an F1 car, but why the hell not? Or Jeep? Chrysler?
I don't think it'd be Haas as Alfa, it'd be another team. Sauber maybe?

Haas would make more sense since Alfa Romeo is attempting to re-enter the US market.
