    Really?

I was probably just keeping my expectations low...

So I’m not even going to bother to keep my hopes up until the day he actually steps down.

I certainly did not expect two of the answers to be true. (Defeated by Dems next election and Impeached.)

I do get a little bit of a thrill hearing that this is the first time since (I think) 1892 that a president has started a term with his party controlling both houses of congress and ended having lost the election and both houses of congress.

    That is quite remarkable...

But the nation is also remarkably split so freaking evenly... everything’s so remarkably close... from the senate run offs, to the senate itself... even the house has only a slim margin....

Biden is also already planning to a one termer...

Hope the dems continue to build on this and be able to do a good job and hold onto power...

I forgot the Republicans had both houses at the beginning.

Yep, for all his gloating about his accomplishments, he pretty much failed to bring most of his big campaign promises to fruition despite having a Republican majority in both houses for two years.

So did Obama.....which just shows that the true power is in the House and Senate not the Presidency. And that most of them are for themselves, thus why we need term limits. Nothing will change til then.

And I'm pretty sure I voted for defeated by a Dem.

Too bad the poll wasn't multiple choice....

Term limits has to happen. For both congress folks, and judges/justices. Term limits, and mandatory retirement age.

While we're at it, Citizens United can get fucked too.

G'Day mate omitted the poll option "Loses the Second Civil War" as how Trump's presidency ends.

At the moment tho, Phil_SS and I were correct with losing to a Dem at the next election. My reasoning was that not only would Trump do a bad job, but his inability to act Presidential would prevent him from getting the benefit of incumbency, tipping the floating voters away from him and thus the election.
