    Thanks Kid!

EDIT: The team has said their good-byes. Hugs, tears and stories shared. I kind of awkwardly worked at my cube and chatted to folks who came by.

In the end, I walked out the other eliminated contractors from our company. Now here I sit in an empty ghost town of cubicles.

    I am The Last Contractor.

I was told that the newly hired project manager would be taking over my job as manager, because I'm moving away from my corporate office. Even though I've been in talks with my boss for over a year now re: Shannon's graduation and move. He was okay with it until recently.
They hired this new person to take another job which got filled in the meantime. And since my boss likes having his employees in the office, he wants the manager to be in-house.
Then I was told that my duties will now be reporting to the CCO, instead of Bus Ops.

So, I talked to the CCO and she agreed that it was BS to do that to me and she was going to talk to the COO and reverse the decision.
