Since the isolation at the start of the pandemic and some of the jobs/projects being kind of stressful I've on and off been drinking too much. I'm currently at still drinking a bit too much but improving. It's weird to feel like you're an alcoholic, but also be doing well at work and have nobody else notice.

Although it's not much for some, for me it's massive. I'm getting an 8.5% pay rise this year. I've had a low as 1.5% in this place so to get 8.5% is huge. That is all.

Oh man, I've gotten so many 0.5%-1.5% raises in my career. The only times I've really gotten a raise as big as that was when I changed jobs. Congrats!
