That's hawt
I hit 200 subscribers. While it is not much in the grand scheme, I feel it is a milestone. Oddly, 100 subs went by so fast I didn't notice.

Two hundred and eight!
I'll now start giving "powerful likes" to your uploads.
I wish I really knew how the paying structure for youtube worked, all I know from the game walk-through videos that Bruno watches all the time is that youtubers are always asking their audience for likes. So I figure it's a combination of the number of views, channel subscribers and likes.
acket.
Thanks guys. If I understand it correctly, the more likes you get, the more likely your videos will be randomly recommended to others, thus giving you more views. Views is how people get advertising revenue from their channel. The more views you get, the more you make. Alas, you have to have millions of views in order to make a living exclusively from YouTube. Also, you cannot monetise (I hate that word) your channel until you have over 10,000 total views. I am just over 5,000 views at the moment. I do not regularly bug people to like and subscribe because people that regularly use YT already know how to like and subscribe. Me bugging them to will not help. On top of all that, from what I have heard, YT values viewer retention. If people are more likely to watch your whole video to the end, YT is more likely to randomly recommend your videos. I have also heard YT doesn't care how many subscribers you have. Having lots of subscribers just increases the chance that your videos will be watched more often.

I removed the links I posted a few posts up because this thread is on the first page of an internet search for *My* Garage.
