RIP John Surtees
Was able to briefly greet and shake his hand some 25+ years ago at Lime Rock and he was every bit as charming and gentile as you'd imagine. Only racer to win the world championship on both bikes and in cars, a feat that will certainly never be repeated.

I'm gooder.
RIP John.
I've always dreamed of a "The Crown" style series about the 50's and 60's motorsports world. And of course John would be one of the main players. What a life he lived.

True legend.
Certainly from a different era, but that bike and car titles will probably stay as unique.
I remember him giving a motogp trophy and I wondered if the winner knew just how great this tiny old guy was.

Parts Guy
One of the true greats, even if he only got one really solid shot at the F1 title.

Genuinely one of the greatest and that can apply to both his talent and his character.
