Destiny 2

I finished the main story this morning. I won't spoil anything except to say that it was satisfying and I enjoyed it. It does seem short, if the main story missions are the only thing you do. There are so many other things to do, however. The game will keep me interested for a while yet.

I'm still not finished with the main story -- I've just been poking around slowly and playing quite a bit of Crucible.

I did unlock and play through two of the five Strikes.

Depending on which version of Destiny 2 you bought, you’ll have access to a different number of strikes in the game.

The PS4 version of the game gets an extra exclusive strike, making it a total of six strikes for players on that platform. If you picked the game up on Xbox One, you’ll have five. Here’s a list of all the strikes currently available in the game:

• The Inverted Spire
• Exodus Crash
• Savathun’s Song
• The Arms Dealer
• The Pyramidion
• Lake of Shadows (PlayStation exclusive)

Honestly, why does Madden have a new version every year? Why can't they just release a service pack or a roster pack for the next season?

I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand the crap that comes out of the CoD and Madden world. I would rather they took the time to make a good game and then had expansions instead of releasing the same crap every year. But trying to state it is better and different.

I was just talking about what you mentioned re: people pissed that it wasn't an expansion. I just wanted to point out that these other major franchises put out a full game every year with minimal improvements and people buy it up every time. I hate it too. And like you said, there's no way they could fit all of what they did with D2 into the first game. So, it was completely justified that they put out a full game, instead of just an expansion.

Now that I've put in quite a bit of time between D2 and the Beta, I gotta say the feel of the game seems crisper. A touch more responsive, like they quickened the acceleration of the crosshairs while keeping the top speed the same. Very quick and reactive, still smooth but with stronger Aim Assist -- which I love.
