The footage I watched did not involve destructible enemies or environments with things flying everywhere and being affected by physics, it was beautiful landscapes with simple local geometry, a half dozen enemies, and no highly reflective surfaces nor deep grass or forests.
It's not as ambitious as something set in a dense city, or with lush environments, or with detailed structures that you can inspect or destroy, yet it was still beautiful due to art direction and excellent execution.

Gotcha.
Yeah, I don't think the gaming systems, or the developers, could handle that level of detail with what they have to work with.
