If in fact as the commentator / bystander states, they just munted the next door building, then this is a whoops.
Also, brick buildings = why a bunch more people died in the Christchurch earthquake than would have done otherwise.

Had no audio at work. If that's the face, it is in fact an epic fail. But I can't imagine it is. I think the bystander doesn't know what's up. 1) Don't think they would use that machinery like that. 2) The construction crew doesn't seem concerned and keeps demolishing.

No, it was very much the wrong building.

It's out of view of the camera until it comes down on the other building, but it seems like they left a tall section of brick wall sticking up precariously high.
In fact it makes it all the more hilarious that they just keep tearing shit up even after it happens.
Edit: I guess being that it was an "emergency" demolition, it's more understandable.

Insurance will cover it, and maybe both buildings were fucked and doing this just uncovered a previously unknown situation.
Sounds like a functioning and active internet forum to me.
if you fail at failing, does that mean you win?
Dick is soft.
Sorry to hear that, Drew. Hope you get it sorted soon.
