That's fucked. Yes the burnout was stupid, but banning him is over the top.
Reminds me of this: https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2003/...rt.jamiewilson and this: http://jalopnik.com/5764333/rally-dr...gator-to-drive
When you're a high profile race driver, you need to be cleaner than clean.
The burnout was a completely stupid move. and the consequences of it were always going to be high.
I seem to recall that the FIA dished out massive fines (like, many thousand Euro's) when some WRC drivers were caught speeding between stages during the International Rally of NZ.
Where it might get interesting, is that I thought Robbie Gordon owned the travelling circus of Stadium trucks that do support races in Aussie. If he packs a sad about his ban, I wonder if he will take his toys and storm off home. From what I've seen of him in interviews etc, he doesn't seem like the most professional of operators.

Hamilton is still allowed to compete in Australia. What's the go?
McLaren has better lawyers and deeper pockets than Robbie Gordon?
You don't dick with F1
Happy to have furthered your education with a new slang phrase
"Chucking a naa-naa" could be used in the same situation. It's the cross-Tasman version of the same phrase.
