But the money you put toward these retro consoles can be put toward a gaming PC.

I’d do that if I didn’t want these more than I want a PC.

So… I’ve failed at something and I’m on my own now?

I may sell it. I haven't actually played it at all other than a quick 2 hour game of SFII and Mario Kart with my son. Unsure just now.

I did see a woman posing for a selfie with the box of one yesterday in my usual computer/electronics mall.

YOU ARE ALWAYS ON YOUR OWN. Also, just in case you were wondering, WE ARE ALL BORN AND THEN START DYING. SLOWLY BUT INEVITABLY.

This is, if I really take the time to think, the only time I've really bought a "collectable" video game thing. So despite my power gaming PC, and despite my emulation PC with every emulator known to man on it.... I'm still happy with the purchase.

    Plus the wife likes it.

Picked one up used. Played SMW for about an hour

I forgot how much I loved the SNES. I will likely play through all of this stuff.

Is this thing still being sold? B. has recently developed a like for it. And we're just not going to pay the ransom prices for which it now goes for.

He has mini NES... I guess I'm going to go and look around how that is done.
