Anyone else keeping an eye on this one?
Current projections (while still early), don't show a very friendly path.
Then another one 5-6 days behind it (though at this point, only at a 20-40% chance of development)
Thanks Obama.

The Great President will Save You All!!
You can always head north to SC or something.
May take you up on that, though we have two additional bodies to take with us.
That, and given the current uncertainty, we all may be going further north!
Yeah, it's not looking promising. Starting probably Wednesday night, or Thursday morning, I'll be stuck at work until it passes.
Two things are pissing me off about this.
1) My complex has been repainting the buildings, including some concrete work, but it looks like they concreted right over the holes (and hardware?) for my storm shutters. I'll be ready to sue if I can't put up my shutters and get damage to my stuff.
2) I have to find someone to watch my dog. Having to be at work throughout the storm means I can't. My dad usually watched him, but has plans for a wedding this weekend. Of course, that wedding might not actually happen since it's in Key West.
Canceling a wedding signals a lack of commitment. That marriage is doomed.
I should say, I have no idea if they would cancel, but my dad sure as hell won't be there.
Bought some basic necessities today, but didn't go into full 'SURVIVAL' mode. Needed a new heavy duty outdoor cord to run from the generator into the house. Some canned foodstuffs. Extra bottle of propane. AA batteries. Tomorrow I'm gonna fill all my gas cans. We're leaving if a direct hit. Will be OK here if it is not. (The hospital where I work is only rated to a CAT 3, so if a direct hit they will evacuate it. Otherwise, I will be assigned to either Team A or Team B. Team A works prior to and during the storm, Team B relieves them as soon as it is safe to travel.)
