Re Max: I think He and Bottas canceled each other out to make it through the start of lap 1. Bottas is a very careful driver, IMO. A bit of a joke here, Max drove just fine.

Re Hartley/Stroll: It was an ambitious move, but Stroll seemed to see him and try ot give him room, but lost control (puncture?). I haven't given up on Hartley yet, but it's getting close.

After the restart, I was barely paying attention, but it doesn't look like I missed much.

Just an amusing side note, Brendons' hero and mentor was none other than Chris Amon.
Hope he hasn't passed the jinx on.

I watched the 6 minute highlights package that they put up on their official YouTube channel. It had all that I needed to see.

Straight from the horse's mouth. Not sure whether I'd trust what he says though.

    18 points to 1.
Heck, I'm even worried for Vandoorne at McLaren, can't believe Hartley is so safe on that seat, in comparison.

I think young drivers really should be given some time to make sure it's not just bad luck...

Imagine if Max debuted this season, surely he'd be fired by now!

With that said, Leclerc's debute so far has been too impressive. Obviously a future champ.

Formula 1 requires winners, not kids who need time. It’s not a special school.

Amon never won a championship race, McLaren only a handful 😉
