On happier news, the turn signal on the Corvette has been shit since I bought it.

There is a small metal pin/bar which holds the stalk on the switch lever.

This bar was either broken or something. Not really sure, but it wouldn't stay in it's place and would fall out. This would render the lever useless, and force me to activate the TSS directly inside of the column with my finger. Not ideal by any means.

I figured I could knock the job out in about two hours, so I went over to a buddies house after work on Monday. I was wrong, 4.5 hours later, with some moments of aggressive language outbursts, finagling, and exhaustion. I had finally replaced the switch without breaking anything on the 25 year old car. I'll take that as a major fucking win.

The car is so much nicer to drive now. I washed it and vacuumed it up. Looks pretty nice.

I had a brief moment where I was going to sell it to fund a zr-1, but the car in question has too many red flags for me to be comfortable with.
