Ah, that makes sense. I guess they don't like you all that much after all.

"Hey man, eat this before we have to throw it away!"

I've never been to a Golden Corral, but I guess I assumed any burger would be cooked to order, not just set out on a buffet. It does look like a really good burger, though.

Michele's makin' pastrami again as well as making a pannetone. That all sounds great, but part of that is because her parents are on the way here :/

Been making a lot of soup this week due to Nathan being sick. Nothing fancy, just homemade tomato and zuppa toscana.

Not a fan of the inlaws?

They're fine, but there have been a *lot* of in-law visits over the past few months, and it makes the three-day weekend a lot less relaxing.

I see. Not that we live in state, I see my inlaws pretty frequently. They rarely come our way, which means we have quiet three day weekends if we want them. Maybe you need a trip out to get an item!!!!! Good luck.

We went to Antonia Lofaso's Scopa here in LA. The one thing I can say for it is - when I went to Italy, I suddenly got why people love pasta. It tasted different, the texture was different, it was just all around better. This is by far the closest I've come to that in LA.
