Corpse flower turned into corpse...
http://www.laist.com/2018/08/08/lil_..._after_all.php
Amorphophallus titanium, or Corpse flower, blooms only once every few years and emits a super stinky smell...
Huntington Library(is a local small library with huge garden area) has few of these flowers... and one is set to bloom for the past week. Anticipations were high and we've been visiting the garden almost daily trying to catch the smell...
Sadly today they announced that it's dying and didn't have sufficient energy to bloom!
I think Michigan had one blooming last month and this is what it looks like:
Oh well, will have to smell you next time!

We had one flower recently in our botanical garden. Drew thousands of people along to see/smell it. I wasn't one of them, pictures were enough for me.

We've had two recently in the Adelaide Botanic Garden ... or we've got one and it bloomed twice for some reason.
Yep, just checked and it bloomed two years in a row!

Apparently it smelt pretty bad
