Don't need to be so patronizing. Just want some clarification using current modern day F-1 rules.

Thatís really weird. Itís seems divorce between Honda and Mclaren was better for both sides?

I don’t think the engine has anything to do with it. McLaren is doing more with the engine than Renault themselves.

Yeah, it seems vettel wasnít able to convert his anger into performance gain...

Anyway, I just canít believe Mclaren made such a quantum leap in performance gain on the chassis side... or maybe Renault hired some ex-Mclaren folks...

Or maybe Alonso has the curse and now itís lifted. Ferrari gained in performance upon getting rid of him too, right?

You have to wonder if the chassis engineers at McLaren weíre cruising and simply blaming the engine when they had the Honda. Once they changed to Renault and red bull were miles in front they had to admit their chassis was pretty crap as well so they got the kick up the butt they needed. Very happy to see them back up there.

The other interesting thing is red bull are much more mud pack than front runner atm. About the only thing keeping them out of genuine mid pack atm is max. Theyíve gone backwards from last year.

And wtf was with the investigation with max and Lewis in P2. Embarrassing non event and reading the stewards report it seemed like both drivers and the stewards had no idea why their time was being wasted and they would have much rather been doing something more important. Like having a cup of tea or something.

Over policing at this point. Agree totally about RBR going backward. Fully expect Max to be in a Merc or Ferrari next year. And so nice to see McLaren kicking some ass. Ricciardo is probably wishing he would have gone there instead
