RIP Niki
It was always a highlight to hear his forthright opinions on Lewis v Nico and the rest, I can still hear his Austrian accent now. Having him be part of modern F1 was a fantastic link back to the past. & as an unashamed Hamilton fanboy, whatever part Niki played in recruiting him to Mercedes is much appreciated

Big loss.
Still amazed at how quick he came back from such a serious injury.

So… technically, is Gasly best of the rest, or is Verstappen best of the rest?

RB is best of rest, but max capitalized on lots of Ferrari mistakes.
This season is really weird. I think it’s clear that Ferrari has fast cars, but the car just doesn’t work well with the new tires.., Haas is exhibiting similar issues.
Give the Ferrari engine to Max or RB and I’m sure he can give Mercedes a good fight.
Maybe Ferrari need to think of ways to blow engine hot exhaust or perhaps use the battery to electrically heat up the rims so that they can maintain heat in tires. I get the feeling that if Ferrari could solve that cold tire problem, they’d be the ones leading the championship.

Except Ferrari looks like a complete fucking dumpster fire. I miss Maurizio
