Gunther Steiner is the team principal of Haas. He is a balls-of-steel italian from the borders with Germany.
Check the F1 docuseries on Netflix to get a good view of him and his awesomeness.
I wish more team principals were like that. No need to coddle those boys.
Although I appreciate his candor Gunther Steiner has always come across poorly in his role, to me. I hope they do the Netflix series again so we can watch him explain to Ricciardo repeatedly that "no, really, we didn't flush away the remaining useful years of your career, honest."

Which is weird because the Ric thing I just used for humor and it really is Steiner I don't like. Acts like a macho hardass for the camera but continues to kid glove Grosjean which absolutely is murdering the mid-term future of that team.
