The penalty wasnt sufficient.
It probably didnt affect the result due to other safety cars, but it could have had a huge impact.
Certainly need to make sure it doesnt happen again and that teams are aware it will be treated seriously. As I said - unless the penalty hits the team ie both cars, then its not going to be a sufficient deterrent. Unless you go so serious as to ban a driver.

Simple fix would be to ban double stacking in the pits.
Surprised they haven't already considering how dangerous it is.

Not just the danger - but it can (and has) affected results, with a stacked car blocking the exit of another car.
Penalties can punish the offending driver, but they dont help the affected driver, they cant get time or position back.

This is more endurance season 2022 news, but that thread is a few years from existing:
Peugeot has announced they’ll be taking part in the new hyper car class at Le Mans starting in 2022.
