It might in Alabama.
(That's adjacent to Florida, for you out-of-towners)
And let me say it's nice to see a random new thread about something funny/silly/interesting. It reminds me of the Pit Stop of old!
I'm curious why they were charged differently?
Maybe the cop and other witnesses saw the woman turn into a regular Chuck Norris when unable to acquire another satisfactory portion of delicious crab legs. Perhaps she unleashed a barrage of roundhouse kicks to the older man, at one point cutting the top of his head with the bottom of her heel as he attempted to duck yet another tooth-rattling blow to his cranium. Possibly the man attempted to fight back with the tongs from the buffet, and then overturned a stack of plates when he commandeered the tray they had been on to use as a shield against her unyielding aggression.Huntsville police officer Gerald Johnson was at the restaurant, and he told WHNT that the resulting fight included two people using tongs as swords as they battled it out over crab meat.
“Literally as I sat down and maybe took two bites out of my plate, there’s a woman who’s beating a man. People are moving around, plates are shattering everywhere,” Johnson said.
As the bespectacled crabmeat enthusiast was unable to mitigate the mighty ass-whoopin' he received from a hungry woman whose destructive fury knew no boundaries that evening, he was charged with the lesser crime.
This is just speculation, of course. I wasn't there.
Maybe because one of them had a sweet model train collection while the other didn't.
Can anyone dig up that original thread? Archive.org perhaps?
