No, I have pretty eclectic music habits. And Imma let you finish but the Roland TB303 is one of the best bass guitars of all time, of all time.

The only genre of music I don't listen to is where the bass is done by a wind instrument. The response of a tuba is too slow for my tastes.

Speaking of wind instruments, check out the trio Too Many Zooz on YouTube. They started out as a NYC subway act.

Maybe not "great bassline" music, but the guy who plays baritone sax is a monster. He plays a lot of melody but holds down the bass often as well.

Wow! I love those guys! Quite a monster indeed he is!

But anyways, speaking of bassist, I can't believe there's no mention of Marcus Miller? Or did I miss it...

More old white guy stuff but not what you'd expect. The Cyberpunk album from Idol is my favorite of his but no one has ever heard this stuff that I know of. Check it out. Way ahead of its time.

And this DJ does some great stuff with music but this song was an original they did...super fun to listen to if you are old enough to have watched Saturday morning cartoons.

Cyberpunk has some gems on it. Bought that when it first came out. Aftershock, the B side to shock to the system should've been on the album.

That makes you the only person I know who has even heard of that album. Yeah I got it when it came out as well.
