You are daft. Plain and simple.

So not a missed shift now? Now he forgot how to work his steering wheel?

Did you watch the replays at all? All the drivers are doing the same thing on the steering wheel all the way down the straight through 5/6th gear on the start. Max doesn’t start checking the menu until AFTER the car started going backwards. Obviously in response to the loss of power. Which is what you should do. When your car loses power you try to find out why.

It’s like you are so blinded by your glee at his demise that you fail to see the truth in front of your face.

God damn it’s like I’m dealing with a child.

The car went backwards or the driver did not deploy the supplementary energy as he was supposed to? That looked like driver error to me.

I'm just saying if you give the driver so much credit for drives like Brazil 16 you ought to give him as much credit for a botched start.

It can't be the car when he loses out and the driver when he wins.

Or look at the obvious visual evidence on the replay? It feels like I’m dealing with a Trump supporter talking about literally anything.

Bloody hell what a race. I’m enthralled, but it’s nearly 1am.

I think I’ll stay up for these last 15 laps!

The second of those predictions has aged well. However I think it's been a nice surprise how much overtaking there's been, would be great to come back here next year

Getting towards everyone who reaches the end getting a championship point here, only 12 runners left now.

If the second-place grid spot has more grip than pole, we could have an interesting third session of the race eventually, with Bottas on the favoured side.
