I also just want to say it's a crime that they stopped racing at Nurb GP. It's got to be in the top 10 F1 tracks of all time.

Out of curiosity, can you guys name a driver who’s not a multi champ and not an also ran? How would you classify such driver(s)?

The pace car seemed a bit of overkill, especially considering how much it can affect the result.

Yes the SC was overkill, but the alternative was that the smoking McLaren was suddenly burning and they had only called for a VSC.
the problem with the SC is that it has to allow the lapped cars to get to the back of the queue, so that they don't get in the way of fights for position... it could have taken one less lap if it drove around more slowly but drivers were already complaining, and it would have been unfairly beneficial to those who pit later.
