It's a 14 day quarantine on arrival to NZ, and I think they get around 3 test during that time? But don't quote me on that.

Second wave catching fire here. 2,000 new cases per day in Canada, and deaths climbing too.Judging by the early trajectory of the graph, this second wave will easily eclipse the first one by quite a bit. There's no end in sight, I'm going to lose my mind!

Are there antimaskers in Canada or are people generally pretty careful there?

Anyway, as flu season approaches, I suppose things can Only get worse...

Actually, social distancing kicked this year's flu's butt.

In the Southern Hemisphere, flu season would have been just taking off, but cases were virtually nonexistent. “Never in my 40-year career have we ever seen rates ... so low,” says Greg Poland, an influenza expert at the Mayo Clinic.

So social distancing and masks for sure helped kicked those virus butts! However, at least in the US, not everyone agrees with these measures that’s why we’re the greatest COVID nation on earth.

Further, surely every nation has their share of anti maskers which might contribute to the new peaks...

Btw, we got our flu shots anyway... just in case if we’re infected, we won’t have to deal with both the flu and COVID19.

Only in Quebec I believe. They also lead the country in cases. I wonder if there’s a correlation. 🤔

I feel like the only consolation I can provide is that even 60K cases a day feel like an okay situation once you get used to it....

Uk screwed up on the counting hence has just had to add around 15,000 new cases that were recently missed.

    Incredible Achievement!!!!
