Both my parents got the Pfizer vaccine yesterday. Both are feeling good. They go for their next shots in July.

Apparently, there is a surplus of the vaccine in these parts, so I got my first COVID-19 vaccination shot today. I did not expect to get a shot for months yet, because I am not in any special category.
I qualify for a vaccine in Colorado and am still trying daily during the working day to make the appointments with no luck at all. Apparently it takes more time and persistence than I have to get one.
I’ve heard over the radio today saying some pharmacies have short walk-in lines...
These appointment systems perhaps are just not very efficient... as more and more people qualify, we will only further overload and crash the appointment system?
Best strategy is probably to check up on your local pharmacies and just be patient...

Brisbane has had a cluster, up to 7 cases, and is now in a 3 day lockdown.
These next few days will be critical, see if this is contained or gets out of control.
Vaccine wise they are still finishing off first doses for front line medical workers.
Two of the infected visited Byron Bay in NSW. This is where a few celebrities live, eg Chris Hemsworth, Zac Effron, Matt Damon. Its a popular tourist location and with local travel being encouraged there is a risk that this could be a hub for a bigger outbreak.
