ACC is the worst game for VR ever. Badly optimized and terrible UI - so basically you got it wrong on foot one.
You want VR on sims you gotta get Automobilista 2 or iRacing, even AC.

The game and its performance were not the problem when I played ACC, it was the headset whose battery wouldn't stay alive and that I could never get to fit and stay in just the right spot so it wasn't blurry.
Get that weak shit off my track
Still, with the best VR headset in the world ACC is shite in VR (that manure of Unreal Engine 4 being the culprit), so it is not a reliable reference.
It seems that part of the really impressive smoothness with GT7 VR is because it's reportedly running at a non-native 120 fps, maybe using reprojection (aka adjusting the frame for your head movement). UploadVR says they experienced bad ghosting with that mode in Horizon, and I don't remember anything like that while playing GT7, so maybe they fixed it, Polyphony handles it well, or something else is happening

It is probably very well optimized. Kudos to them, must be said!
So sick of the slow car rotation in the Hagerty collection.
I've been trying since the game launched in March 2022 to buy the F40 (only time i've seen it was that March, when i didn't have the money), and since then i've done a Cam and deleted the game two to three times, gone probably half a year of not playing it until we got a PS5 in December, and i've been trying since then to get/see the car.
It's such a shitty way of giving players 'access' to vehicles, because for those of us with limited time it makes it hard to get the cars we want. And with the crappy race payouts, it makes it hard to get the credits required for some cars.
The engine swap mechanic also suck arse too. Just let us buy and install the engines like Forza etc, instead of hiding it behind a lucky (unlucky) dip mechanic.
yeah, they go out of their way to make it as complicated to do simple things as possible
Couple quick recent pics. They seem a bit bright to me though, so might be PS5 settings as all my PS4 GT7 shots are a little less bright.
After just over a year of trying to get one, i finally managed to get a couple of F40's.
My yummy (nomnom) F50. I've been told 'Nomnom' is being used in R18 type references these days, so ignore that if you know it.
Woo, XJ220! Haven't driven it yet, as was way too tired last night and kept nodding off.
My Supra owning brother (red one is as close to his real one as i can get in game) also loves the XJ220 (and the Viper RT/10), so took this pic for him since he doesn't have the game

I have been playing this again this week. I have been having some pretty good fun with it.
been a while since I played, forgot how amazing the photo mode is.
Also don't want to start it up because I'm sure it will be like 2 hours of updates needed, sigh
