Taking over ownership of the forum?
Anyone interested? I'm not around as much as I used to be--might be nice to have an owner/admin who was actually participating here on a frequent basis.
I believe I can transfer the vBulletin license to a new owner. If not, we can work to move to a different platform, depending what the new owner decides.
Thoughts, feelings, suggestions?
(ps. it's not about the money.)

I could do it if you wanted to unburden yourself. I check in every day or two and post a few times a week. Absorbing whatever cost would be easy. I don't think the users are a concern; I imagine most of the duties are swatting away spam and working out hosting kinks.

Ask me about my bottom br
I'm a follower, so almost anything you guys decide is fine. Except moving to FB. I hate that shit.

Less disruption would be good...

I don't mind taking over duties as well, as much as I'm not a huge fan of vBulletin (or PHP in general, maybe the one programming language that I think should be banished)

Is this how an East Coast - West Coast feud starts?

We can do it democratically. Hold an election.
I'll be the pie-faced bloated gas bag and Brian can be the senile silver haired coot.
That said, I'm willing to help. If Brian wants to help by all means, pass him the keys.

Heh, I think we're pretty much in the same boat, but I'd be tempted to tinker more. Which may or may not be a good thing.
