I’m not sure why they look puffy. Looking at them now they appear to be fine (it’s morning and I’m laying in bed).
I haven’t been very active and I’ve only worn a pair of shoes once since the accident so it may just be them swelling while I’m upright. The difference in size between my knees is still very noticeable as well.

Going good. It goes round and round on the exercise bike.
Physio today had me standing on one of those balance ball things and doing small squats.
I can walk without a stick but I still need it for stairwells. I’m beginning to forget where I put it at home on the odd occasion, which is a good sign

Lil announcement:
I've been basically lounging about and living the dream on insurance money for the past 10 months and haven't regretted a single moment of that. My iRacing record would attest to that
But there comes a time where I will eventually have to return to the normal life. That time is not right now, thankfully, but I would also regret not making the most of this time by turning it into something productive. So it comes that I have enrolled in a Certificate III course to study laboratory skills! The course starts in early September and runs until the end of December, two days per week. I hope to maybe find some part-time work in the field while studying and then go look for a full-time position in the new year when my recovery progresses to the point where I can handle that level of activity.
This is a thing I'd have liked to study years ago but cost (both in course fees and reduction of income while studying) and time have been elusive to do this sort of thing. So before I had a reasonable income but no time, while now I have a little bit less income but infinite time. Time is a gift that one does not readily come by. It's harder to earn than money, so why not use it properly?
And what's more, the Qld government is covering $4050 of the course fees, while I only have to pay $550 for my contribution. SoCiaLIsM!!!1 All I have to do is hop on a train to Brisbane, stay with a friend who is very generously lending couch space for a few nights a week, and put pen to paper. One of the conditions that I get funding to do this is that I cease taking part in the motorcycle licence instruction course, and realistically I am not very keen to continue that given how it turned out. So I am thinking towards the future: getting out of the mundane warehousing and heavy lifting job that damages my body and rots my brain, and moving onto something more suited to my interests and abilities and outlook on life.
Wish me luck

Also, for those who are friends with me on Facebook, I'd love it if this was kept between us for now. My employer is keeping my position available for me, which I am grateful for, but I'd rather they didn't find out until my path is more certain.
