Surgery finally happened at 4pm. I got whisked away while my family was paying a visit!
I woke up with this all up in mah grill:
I’m on 4mg/hr of ketamine to manage the pain in the place where they attempted to clean the wound.

This is the easy part. My leg joint is locked to that angle while the swelling reduces, so I don’t have to do fuck all.
The rebuild will happen in a few days, and THAT is where things will get difficult. The physio will be a killer. I need to prepare myself physically and mentally for that.
