Legit:
“most of the drama here is pure. Max Verstappen's raw, incandescent talent grating against the patient, masterful craft of seven-time champ Lewis Hamilton. To heighten the stakes, both racers are chasing history.”

One for the history books no doubt.
Where were you when this shit went down?
Well, most likely watching at home because I’m not a Saudi with a $250 grandstand ticket to one of the least-attended races of the year.
That article offers a very accurate and fair assessment of the situation for sure..., but I have faith in the raw, incandescently talented Max to try his best to showcase his talent thru a win or staying ahead of Lewis rather than thru carnage.
Personally I think the best safest thing to happen would be for Mercedes engine to fail. They won the constructor's title already and Lewis has nothing to prove anyways... he can always chase his 8th next year...
Of course the perfect end to this season would be to see the crowning of the winner as the champ! I personally will be happy to see either guy win. They both deserved it. Fingers crossed...
told ya, the only relatable guy on the grid:
acket.
It was not as good as that greatest lap that never was in the last quali, but good enough for pole I guess. Still, pole time was nearly 1s ahead of other non-HAM rivals!!!
Mercedes don’t look very good during quali… especially considering Bottas performance. Still, looking at their times, these 2duos are obviously operating on a different level.
Maybe Bottas stayed back on purpose to stay out of the way.
Wonder if Perez will be team ordered to hit Ham… will that DQ constructors championship for RB?
Hamilton must be losing his edge to let a glorified hot lapper get even with him on points for an entire season. I guess if you can string together the most hot laps in a race then you can win? This concept changes everything!
