Oh, I thought you were referring to the Azuki rug as the guy was also affiliated with Beanz or whatever.

I haven't heard of the Mr Bean project. Most of the twitter hype was focused on the Mclaren project!

    got it.

Fucking steel is at a 12 month high. Glass is also thru the roof, and Copper is not far behind.

My mom is doing some repair work. That's why your comment made me pause.

Man, that explains why the window replacement we just got a quote for was so damn high.

I went to a small window shop and I didn't get a quote. The guy told me that the owner wasn't there and that he was the only one who had that prerogative, because of price volatility.

We replaced the windows in our master bedroom back in 2019. Now we're doing the same on the other side of the townhouse now that we're working at home for the foreseeable future, and it's up at least 40%.

Glad I stayed out of crypto. It’s all fuckery as far as I can see. I’m hearing stories of people whose accounts are stuck by the shady exchanges and can’t get what’s left of their money out. It’s scary. It really looks like it’s going to collapse.

I have just never figured out where the value lies. They all seem tied to the dollar as their valuation anyway, it all just seems like a weird and non-useful abstraction vs. USD that can fluctuate wildly either way. You could get rich, but you could also lose everything, and there's no regulatory body trying to make sure the latter doesn't happen.
