A little assistance for the Facebook clickers?
Greetings
I am a finalist in quite a cool contest, so I'm here begging for your post reaction clicks.
Haydon Paddon, he of the WRC driving a few years ago, has a 700hp beast of a hillclimb Hyundai, that he is looking to name.
I've suggested "Ed", because of the famous Kiwi Sir Ed Hillary, who rather notoriously climbed a big hill.
That got me into the top 3, so if you're so inclined, if you are able to jump over to
https://www.facebook.com/paddonrallysport
Then there's the voting post, and if you do the "haha" emoji as a reply, that's a vote for me.
First prize is to be taken for a skid in 700hp vehicle. Which would be to say the least, pretty cool.
I'm not sure how to link to the exact post ... but for my FB friends, I'll share a direct link there shortly.

They don't actually say how long the competition is running for, which is slightly puzzling. Depends I guess on who shares how much. Thus, I'm here

I'll let you know something, the uphill is awesome, the downhill is terrifying.
Only been a passenger there once, never again
I did a rally sprint in my brothers' Escort, using the uphill section and carrying on past the hairpin for a few kms, finished 5th overall and won the class. My brother finished 2nd behind Trevor Crowe in the V8 Skoda.

I've been in a few race and rally car passenger seats over the years, but this would be a next level opportunity.
I've met Hayden a few times, and he is just this amazing combination of chill, and totally goal focused. Plus, he's by far the best driver in NZ. We're talking he won a two day gravel rally, OUTRIGHT, versus modern cars, in a Mk II Ford Escort from the 1970's.

I submitted a write-in ballot for Racey McRaceface.
Actually, I can't vote because I'm not a member but I wish you good luck.
Edited for poor comma usage.

A different post on their feed says that "Voting will open for 1 week on the 3 finalists, the name with the most votes, wins!". Assuming they're better at calendars than they are at comma usage, sounds like you'll know by the 26th. I voted, it looks like you're ahead by a significant margin at the moment.
