    RIP Queen Elizabeth II.
Like I said somewhere else, most of the colonies were "freed" in her reign, and she didn't ... King Leopold.

But that don't excuse her from the actions of people who represented her and what they did, either for themselves or for the crown. The buck stops somewhere, and as the head of the state, that was her.

Now the buck stops with Daddy Charles III, the guy who talks to plants.

And then with his son, and then with his son, so it's not likely that we'll have another queen any time soon, especially if Prince George grows up and has a boy first

The Queen’s funeral (Monday I think) will be a national holiday here…for government bureaucrats only. Everyone else in the real world will still be at work. Surprisingly, banks will remain open too. They’re usually in lockstep with the government.

I stumbled upon this today. It's said to be the Queen with Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and his 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.

Question for those still under the iron fist of the monarchy: Does one capitalize the Queen or King when speaking of them or is it the queen did this and the king said that?

Quick search says it should be Queen Elizabeth, or the queen.

Same for King Charles, and the king.

    Odd, but it's English, so....?
