I miss the times where you sat with friends in front of the C64 or Amiga and played and watched together.
Today none of my friends is interested in this kind of games and gaming anymore.

Some play Elite, some play WoW and other do sim racing.

And with todays huge screens and resolutions and wireless controllers it would be a blast!

Microsoft is celebrating its 300th game available as part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility program by letting players download a free game.

Lost Odyssey, one of the few JRPGs for Xbox 360, can be added to Xbox Live subscribers' libraries for free before December 31, 2016.

Additionally, Blue Dragon, another JRPG for 360, is available for download in the Xbox store.

Today I sold some things big on Ebay so I decided to spend some money towards my X1.
Since I`m fed up with the long loading times I decided to expand it with a SSHD which is just slightly slower than a SSD - but way cheaper.

So I bought a USB hub (3x USB 3.0 in the front) with an internal 2,5" harddrive bay and a 2,5" Seagate FireCuda SSHD with 2 TB.

    The USB hub:

Blends in with the design of the X1 and it doesn`t need an external power supply.
There is one by Nyko for 3,5" drives but it needs an external power supply and you just place it on top of the X1.

Comparison: Internal HHD, external SSHD, external SSD:

Yeah I love the idea and design of that. Looks really nice.

I wonder if anything similar will come out for the Xbone S.

    wow, big difference for GTA
it's not just the drives, though. CoD 13 (IW) loads much faster than CoD 12 (BOIII), like HDD vs SSD difference (both on the same internal HDD).

Microsoft shows off its new Xbox One dashboard
Microsoft revealed last week that it’s planning to rebuild the Xbox One dashboard with a focus on speed. While the software giant revealed common tasks will be faster, Mike Ybarra, head of platform engineering for Xbox, has now teased exactly what the new dashboard will look like. Microsoft is adding a new Xbox button part of the guide that slides into view, with the ability to quickly switch between recent apps or games without having to navigate back to the home of the dashboard.
So, it's going to be more like the X360? Good. About time.

I don't care what they do as long as they improve the speed.
