I'm pretty sure that you were one of the other 8 Dec people. Along with Taimar and Dudley.

Man, some of those names brought memories back. MustangEater and his tragic typing, Jimmy_Fingers was usually funny. SEER probably still has those stupid boots. KFS was always cool.

I joined in sometime in April 2001...freshman year of high school. retsmah had sent me links about racing in EZGT and other bits of info from here in late '00 but it wasn't until 2001 that I actually joined.

God that was half my life ago What a strange generation we have. But it's been great fun and a hell of a ride.

I don't think I appeared, as GT2toXS until after GT2 had come out. Prior to that, I tried to learn from rec.games.video.sony and alt.games.video.sony-playstation, etc.

Apart from the fact that those demos dont show you getting gold...

: Just go down the lists B1, B2...Bfinal...A1,...AI1, AI2,...etc. and when the
: demo starts for the test you want, adjust your racing view to how you
: normaly race in order to get the right 'feel' for the racing lines.

There is a lot more to it than that.
B3 for example looks easy, but it one of the hardest golds to get.

Then again A7 looks hard, but it by far the easiest!!!

Some of them do. Just not the ones which were featured in the Japanese
games, I believe. (I.e. the Japanese game had only a few license test
demos, and none of them were gold, I believe).
