When I was in high school I lusted after that '72 Charger. I'm not sure I'll ever circle back for one, especially at that price.

I always preferred the more squared-off Chargers made from 1968 - 70, but seeing that orange one on TV every week as a kid might have had something to do with that.
Somehow the next generation like that yellow one looks less desirable to my eye. It looks less like a muscle car and more like the rich, Corinthian leather coupes that would follow a couple years later for the gold chain & mustache crowd.
I had a '77 Charger for a few months in '88. Faded silver paint and a maroon Corinthian interior and a Lean Burn 400. Not the ideal car for delivering pizzas in.
Step right this way, sir...
1978 Chrysler LeBaron 318 727 - $2250
(I realize this is not a '77 Charger, but it has some similarities)
Clearly the '77 Charger was a different car entirely.
That era Charger was a Cordoba in a muscle shirt. I would totally drive that Lebaron. I've always said that the Aspen/Volare coupes are very attractive Novas in the same way that a Chevy Monza is a sexier Mustang II.
We had a Aspen for a while. It was brown.
My parents' 1979 Aspen wagon was white with a blue interior. It had an automatic and a slant six. I could tell some stories about a beach trip a friend and I took in it on Labor Day Weekend 1985, but probably shouldn't.
Hey, check out this site, Aspen/Volare fans:

I could go for a wagon like this:

Really interesting (to me) car; a '93 Mistubishi GTO that was legally imported and is for sale for a reasonable price.
1993 Mitsubishi GTO VR4 TWIN TURBO AWD 3000GT STEALTH - $10500
I'd look seriously at this except the RHD would be really difficult in the city because of the parking garage tickets and if I buy a 3000GT it will be as a DD when I cage the E46.
Yeah. F right hand drive here in America.
