I used to drive those vans in Afghanistan, have some pictures I can upload later. Was the first RHD vehicle I ever drove.

Yeah. I found it while looking for a car hauler, stumbled on it completely randomly. Original owner recorded every fill-up.
Does Drew still do that? He used to do it with the taupe RSX and the Mustang, right?

Dunno, haven't talked to him in years. Probably does though for every car he's had, including the CRX.

Price seems high, but what do I know? It's not as if there are many Celicas of that vintage from which to choose.
My father used to keep a log book for gas purchases, and he'd sit there after filling up and calculate his mileage, too. He didn't do it forever, though. Looking back, it was probably for work-related travel expenses when he used to travel a lot for work.
I wonder if people used to record fuel purchases back when odometers were relatively easily rolled back: "My fuel logbook confirms the mileage on this car!"
That used to be a big thing with used cars. Consumer advocates would recommend examining the pedals and seat covers and floor mats for wear that was inconsistent with the mileage shown on the odo (and similar warnings for other parts of the car), but I haven't heard about it in years. I guess digital odometers did away with that.
