That sink might also double as your tub.

V-8, bright red, four doors, hood scoops, rear spoiler, and dog dishes & beauty rings? Oh, my!

    Needs white-letter tires.

    1978 CHEVY NOVA - $2300

    1968 Buick Riviera - $14000

    1983 Chevrolet C30 Silverado 1Ton Gmc - $6800

Citroen SM Classic French car - $31999

    1982 Chrysler Labaron Convertible Nice! Trade ?? - $1700

Optimus? Wasn't that Radio Shack's store brand? I shouldn't laugh, though. This has an AUX IN and my car doesn't.

    1962 International Scout 80 - $21000

    1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro - $65000

    Hmm...

1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic station wagon - $2000

    Very interesting.

"Great road car; 2 owners, all original, mechanically sound, 2 extra sets of wheels including the original date coded steel wheels, complete set of original locking wire wheel caps, extra parts included; Hankook M+S snow tires mounted on all 4 wheels, Yakima cross bars and bike racks included, 8 seat belts - including two in the rear facing third row..."

    Think it'll sell for that?

It looks to be in similar shape to the one I had. Some things better, some things worse. Maybe I should have held onto it as an investment. But I never would have expected an '88 GTU to ever really be worth much. I think I paid $2700 or so for mine and it was in great shape overall. Guess those days are gone!

I think $12k would be attainable if the paint weren’t gnarly, as Carlo mentioned. I think a full detail could bring it back pretty well, and would be a good investment for the seller. As it stands, I’d be hard pressed to give $9-10k. The good condition of basically everything but the paint matters a lot because a lot of those parts degrade and can be hard to fix and/or replace. The undercarriage looks really good, too.

Dwindling supply and the ridiculous money coming into the 80s and 90s collector car market means these cars go for way more than they used to, but only when in very good condition. This, aside from the paint, seems to qualify.
