Make it so and save one of Uncle Lido's children from becoming a microwave.

Camaros from this era used to be everywhere. Now I rarely see one.

This one comes with the fire-breathing 305 V8 and automatic transmission setup. But wait, there's more! How about Santana's Abraxas album on 8-track cartridge?

Oh man, I am in LOVE!

There was one of these in my apartment complex before my folks bought a house back in... 1981? I thought these things looked like sharks, they were so cool! #featheredhair #rollerrinks #billysquire

305? Unlike many of my mullet-bearing brethren, I have zero problems with the Chevy 305. I mean c'mon, what do rodders expect from factory 8.5:1 compression & tiny tiny valves??

zero? I had a 305, but in a take-it-easy box Caprice. I had almost zero problems with it (gas was just over $1/gal).

sure 250whp is plenty, but you need the whole heads, cam, intake, carb, fuel pump, ... done
meanwhile it'll be embarrassing running a 305 that puts down 90.12 hp on the chassis dyno after headers and dual exhaust
meanwhile, gen2 camaros are underrated, why?

FFS how much power do you need??

That combo I linked is good for 310+ at the crank and ready for a 75-shot. That's easy money, that's originality and no engine-swapping. #done

    1979 Pontiac Firebird 30K miles - $9500

    79 formula firebird - $7500

    RARE 1975 YELLOW CAMARO COUPE-ONE OWNER-UNMOLESTED-ALL ORIGINAL - WOW! - $4400 (ST. LOUIS MO.)

Mmm, rich, Corinthian vinyl...or, considering the era - naugahyde?

    1976 Chevy Camaro O.B.O - $3000

    Bonus points for luggage rack?

    Freudian slip in thread title?

    1981 Turdo Trans am - $16000

This came up in a Trans Am search, perhaps for the AM/FM radio. I like it.

    1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief S 4WD with 39K miles - $8000

that is plenty (no naws needed), the 100 hp to begin with is the problem. While they're bolt-ons to get you to 300hp it isn't exactly as cheap and easy as 'cold air intake + muffler + cat'
Usually you have to deal with diminishing returns. Getting it to 200hp would be seem like a sweet-spot, but doing it a little bit at a time gets you almost nowhere, fuel, full intake and full exhaust have to be done.

I'm just bitter that my car is buried in a foot of snow out in the street. Even in the summer it's parked a block or two away and doing a simple oil change is a pain at that distance. screw you garage guys
article in the link is great

Bloody hell, George. You live in some kind of fairy tale magic car land.
