Seriously. Who could have ever conceived that full size vans would be cool again?

As I slowly think about replacing the Suburban (it's getting close to the four year timeout) I keep thinking about a full size van just for fun. The thing that holds me back is that it's really great that the dog can sit on the folded seats and stick her head out the window. It's not really possible with a van, and I can't think of a good way to make that happen. And, you know, safety is a factor. Big SUVs aren't all that safe, but full size vans are super unsafe.

You can replace dajiban with literally any other car I own. Except black Jaguar XJ. Oddly, there are three. But no Rs.

I agree that the vans are unsafe. In this day and age of compression zones and everyone needing a seatbelt, the V8 Van is a dinosaur.
