We only had time for one very short ride there, unfortunately. I rented a beach cruiser but my son opted for this cool tricycle, equipped with a coaster brake in the back and a drum brake in front.



That was near the famous Del Perro Pier in lovely Los Santos, California.

A big thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Servo for meeting us for dinner on Friday night. It was a great finale to a superb vacation. We had some really good Mexican food and very enjoyable company in one of their usual hangouts on our last night in town.

Today I'm back at work and not happy about that at all.

I found the Drive By Truckers on Amazon Prime Music, now I just need to find the time to listen to it

No loss if you don't like them, but I enjoy their mixture of classic/southern rock, lots of guitars, and a huge catalog of songs from hard rockin' arena rockers to quieter acoustic stories. They're not shy about political topics, either.

A line from one of their songs gives an idea of the kinds of tales they tell:
