Neat picture. It made me think of the little guy on Fantasy Island looking up and saying "De plane, boss. De plane!" at the beginning of each episode.

Here's my son's hors catégorie from a couple weeks ago. When we left the house, we couldn't find his gloves, and it didn't seem cold enough to need them, but we started late in the afternoon and he came home practically in tears from his hands being so cold, after the sun disappeared behind some clouds. I didn't wear any gloves, because he wasn't, and must admit I was just as miserable on the ride back down.

Michele had a bike fitting not long ago that I got her for Valentine's Day. They made some adjustments, but also told her a couple of things about pedaling form that might help.

Almost every morning she goes to this gym class down the road in West Hollywood. She wanted to go this morning, but it's right by the LA Marathon route and, while not directly on it, the streets around it were closed. So we figured we'd bike.

She did nearly 12 miles and said her sciatic only bothered her a few times, and each time immediately improved when she tried to focus on pedaling the way they told her in the fitting.

This is very exciting progress, longest ride she's done in about 15 months.
