Pics of a family bike ride from a cloudy day last Sunday are below. This was my wife's choice for what to do on Mother's Day. Yes, it's true!

Kids had fun but kept our Strava average speed low (/shakes fist in anger ) as they wanted to stop to play in the water, skip rocks, look at bighorn sheep, and other non-bicycle-related tomfoolery.

This was my first time at this great (but often crowded) place to ride. I intend to explore fully on my own and/or with some or all of them in the near future.

Wow, that looks awesome. And I swear, we supposedly have bighorn sheep up in our mountains and they're everywhere, yet in decades of hiking I've never seen one.

Anyone heard from Dr. Mekon recently? Has he just stopped strava-ing most of his rides?

I don't know, but his IG account displayed evidence of hacking today.

Michele just did her longest contiguous ride since her injury, slightly over 30 miles. We went to the place we used to bike to for lunch in El Segundo (though we passed on lunch, the place ain't that great). Went at a pretty decent pace too, definitely didn't take it easy.

No pain. She cried when she got home. We are very excited.
