Not really bicycle-related, but some Skype and Relive content follows:

I went skiing yesterday for the second time this month and had a crazy thought - what if I turned on Strava while I took a few runs? Much to my surprise, there is an Alpine Ski option, among many others.
This wasn't my whole day, as I might do with a bike ride, but I pressed Start just before hopping on a lift and turned it off at the end of a few runs. Here's what relive.cc did with the data. Obviously the straight uphill parts are on lifts. Pretty neat, I think.

I'm also wondering how YW's skiing in France went, but I probably shouldn't ask about that here. If only we had a skiing and snowboarding thread...
Yeah, I noticed they added that option later. When I originally asked about the canoe option, the only available options at the time were run, cycle and swim.
I remember that. It was the same when I joined, I think. When I saw the Canoe option yesterday, I thought, "I gotta tell Cam about this!"
I miss skiing. It’s been so long that I’d have to consult Strava to remember when!

Newspaper (website) article about an 85-year-old cyclist:

Last year in Connecticut he won the 2017 Cyclocross National Championships for men between 80 and 84. According to Cyclocross Magazine, his time would have been good for third place in the 70-74 age group.

There is an older gentleman that I often see riding by the house. This would be not noteworthy, but for three things. Number one, he has the same road bike as me, an older, red and white Specialzed Allez. Number two, he always rides his race bike in pedestrian clothes. Number three, he always rides on the wrong side of the street, always. He looks like the type of dude that should know better. At least he always wears his helmet.
I've just joined the Strava club. I've signed up to the London to Brighton off-road BHF ride in September. https://www.bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-h...road-bike-ride Currently worried about it, but determined to do well on it, given that I am over weight and rubbish at the moment. I can change in 6 months, right?
