Thanks folks. It's been a rough year, my FIL passed in July as well. My moved back to PA in early 2017 to be closer to family and both of her parents got sick (relatively) immediately. We're both happy to be here but the timing is brutal.

She has been stabilized and is coming home for hospice, so at least she will die at home in peace with the ones she loved instead of in a cold hospital. Small favor.

Everything on the radio here is an 80s/high school flashback. I was never really a fan of glam/hair bands (Warrant/Winger, etc).

I still listen to Slayer/et al, quite often (as well as shit some people have never heard of).

I was never a fan of glam/hair metal, and shit like Poison/Warrant/etc. always caught flak from me. #metallicafan

Then after college it was fun to clown around during karaoke singing that sappy inane shit. Harmless and hilarious.

But now I'm back to ugh...
