Primarily because I think it's a briliant misdirect. You're watching, thinking, "Oh another Weird Al food song- I've only heard about two dozen of those over the years... Seems fine."
And then halfway through - *Bang!* Change up of premise to hilarious effect.
The change in lighting and background videos to go along with the topic switch makes it so weird and ominous. Laugh my ass off every time I see it.
